Are you a dog lover?

During your massage session, you have the option to enjoy the comfort and companionship of my affectionate greyhound, Nelly. She’s a calm, sweet-natured dog who loves to bring a sense of warmth and relaxation to your experience.

Whether you're looking for a little extra comfort or simply enjoy the company of a gentle, furry friend, Nelly is happy to share her love and make your treatment even more enjoyable.

Is dry needling painful?

No, dry needling should not be painful, at most you might feel a dull ache or a slight sting initially.

However I take my time during this process and focus on destimulating the areas I intend to places needles, allowing for a relaxing and pain free experience. This is also why I only perform dry needling during 60 minute or longer treatments as it is a time consuming process and should not be rushed.

Not sure what type of massage you need?

Here is a brief description of each service to help you decide what your body needs.

I am always happy to assist my clients in deciding what type of massage would benefit them best.

Relaxation massage is designed to help you release tension and stress from your body through gentle soothing touch.

Remedial massage focuses on treating particular injuries, pain, or musculoskeletal disorders. It involves evaluating and treating the body's soft tissues, including muscles, tendons, and ligaments, to alleviate discomfort, enhance mobility, and encourage recovery. Using various techniques, such as deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release, to address the root causes of pain and dysfunction.

Dry Needling is used to treat pain and muscle tension. It involves inserting thin needles into trigger points in the muscles, which is highly effective at releasing tension and promoting healing. While it may sound similar to acupuncture, dry needling is a distinct technique that focuses on the musculoskeletal system rather than the flow of energy in the body. Dry needling is an excellent way to enhance your treatment and boost recovery!

Cupping therapy offers several benefits, including improved circulation, muscle relaxation, and pain relief. The suction created by the cups helps to increase blood flow to targeted areas, promoting healing and reducing muscle tension. It can also alleviate chronic pain, reduce inflammation, and enhance lymphatic drainage. Many people find cupping effective for easing back pain, headaches, and stress, while also improving overall well-being by encouraging the body’s natural healing processes.
